Delete your account

1. From the app

1. Open MatchApp LB and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Tap Delete my account, read what will happen, and confirm with your password.

Your account is closed straight away, and the app shows you what was removed and what was kept.

2. Without the app

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email support@matchapplb.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before acting on it, and will close the account within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

• Your name, username, email address, profile photo, favourite club, strategy and region are erased.
• Your posts, comments, reactions, follows, notifications and registered devices are deleted.
• You can no longer sign in, and the email address can be used to make a new account.

4. What is kept, and why

Your teams and their results stay in the leagues they played in, shown as "Deleted manager" with nothing that identifies you. A league's standings are every team in it, so removing yours would change the results of everyone you played against.

We may also keep records we are required to keep by law, such as payment records for a Wastah membership, for as long as the law requires.
